Quadlander 2021 - AU/NZ

Before we get started, we’d just like to welcome everybody back, and thank you for returning for this season! We hope you have all enjoyed the small season break, and are ready for something a little different. Respawn would also like to take this chance to thank everyone who has participated in our league thus far, without the support of this incredible community we wouldn't be able to do this. As always, if you've been around a while or are completely new to Competitive TF2, we've got you covered, you can check out our documentation website for guides, rules and more.

Please remember that you NEED to be recording POV demos, and holding onto those POV demos for at least 3 months after the tournament. Failure to present the requested POV/s upon request by an administrator will now result in a 6 month ban. Treat this elevation in treatment as the last straw, and we hope this will encourage everybody to keep their POV demos recording.

Tournament Details

• This tournament will run for 8 weeks total, 5 in the Regular Season and 3 for Playoffs. The Regular Season will be run using the Swiss System, with Playoffs making use of the Page Playoff system.
• This tournament will feature two divisions; Premier & Main. Please note, we never intended to reach this level of signups so we will update you later on as to what will happen with division-specific badges or potential lack of them.
• While this tournament is run for players and teams within the AU/NZ region, we will be allowing teams from Asia, and selectively allowing other regions teams we deem are not participating in a malicious manner.
• The Regular Season will feature one unique maps per week, and the Playoffs map pool will draw from these maps.
• Every other rule will be identical to our rules found on our docs website.
• Max active roster size is 8.
• Transfers will be available in two "Transfer Periods" throughout the Regular Season. The first window closes on the 25th of February (end of Week 2), with the second closing on the 11th of March (end of Week 4). Transfers will then be approved on the following day.
• The match days for this tournament will be from Sunday to Thursday. This is so it will be less likely to conflict as much with our existing competitions.

Tournament Specific rules

• As with previous 4v4 gamemodes, you cannot run a Heavy and a Medic at the same time.
